Arbormoon has released the slides from the Introduction to Google Machine Learning APIs talk given by Harry Wang on June 30th, 2017. Get the slides here: Get Started with Machine Learning Slides
Talk extract: The great thing about machine learning nowadays is that you do not have to be an expert in the field to start integrating machine learning into your projects. This talk will give a high-level overview of Google Machine Learning APIs, including Google Cloud ML APIs and Tensorflow. There will be demos and examples of what these APIs are actually capable of creating. Resources for people interested in Machine Learning will also be given. Many of these APIs and resources are very easy to use and will make adding machine learning to your projects relatively quick and easy. We will also discuss on a high-level what machine learning is and concepts like classifiers, training data, and testing data.
About speaker: Harry Wang is currently working as a Software Engineering intern for Arbormoon Software this summer. He is a rising sophomore pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Michigan College of Engineering. Harry is apart of the GEMS Lab at U of M, a research group interested in applied machine learning and graph mining. Currently, he is working on a study of graph partitioning/clustering methods.
