October 12, 2017 @ 6:30 pm
Starting at 6:30pm, we’ll have free food sponsored by Arbormoon Software, Inc. Please RSVP to help us estimate how much food we need. While you are enjoying the food, talk with other developers and network in the local Cocoa community. Our main meeting will start at 7pm and will feature a talk by Colt Correa on the Technical challenges for creating a wearable real-time body motion tracking system for a iOS.
1. Basics of body action tracking, algorithms and methods. What can and cannot be accomplished with today’s IMU’s.
2. Real-time BLE communication using multiple BLE devices to a single smart phone.
3. Power management battery life for a wearable system.
4. Unity3D integration.
5. Open source, open interface system for real-time body tracking.
The topic comes from Colt’s work on DigiBit. They have an active Kickstarter campaign. He will be able to talk about DigiBit’s experiences around that as well as far as what someone can and should not expect from Kickstarter.
